About Ila

Ila has spent her entire career in the banking and finance profession, starting as a Saturday cashier at a building society several decades ago before becoming part of the communications team, supporting the branch network.

In 2020, she joined Cactus Financial Planning, where she continues to apply her expertise. Ila enjoys working in communications and has a particular passion for creating intranet sites.

When Ila isn’t working

Ila has been lucky enough to explore various parts of the world, with her favourite destinations including Thailand, the Golden Temple in India and South America, where she visited Machu Picchu, Brazil, and Chile.

When not travelling, Ila enjoys gardening and indulging in a bit of shopping. Ila also cherishes spending time with her two young grandchildren and family. Additionally, she loves watching Bollywood films, listening to Indian music, and learning to cook new Indian dishes.
